G-Men is an umbrella name for men’s activities in the church. In the past they have included breakfast Bible studies and more recently a range of social activities that bring together men from both within and without the church. The programme generally includes food and a theme related talk.

Operation Eagle is a day’s survival training including archery, shooting, foraging, open fire cooking and making shelters.

Operation Leonardo is an indoor aeronautics completion evening.

Operation Brooklands is an auto-sport competition evening racing Scalextric slot cars on man sized tracks including replicas of The Top Gear test Track, Le Mans and Monaco. This is the favourite event.

Operation Brunel is an engineering evening seeing who can build the best bridge from dry spaghetti. Believe it or not, there is a World Championship and the record load carried by a spaghetti bridge is a mind blowing 570kg, so this is not for wimps. It is an approach used in university engineering schools to put theories into practice.

G-Men events run two or three times a year. Keep an eye open for details.
