Our vision is to be an oasis, a well-watered garden in
a sun-scorched land, a spring whose waters never fail,
as we share God’s love, grace and mercy with our community.

Inspired by Isaiah 58:10-11

‘If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and
malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched
land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.’
Isaiah 58:10 – 11 (NIV)

The Father’s promise of a well-watered garden in a sun-scorched land is the promise of an oasis; a place where He satisfies His people through the never-failing spring of the Holy Spirit.  It is a place too, for weary travellers to seek respite as they journey through the arid, uncertain landscape of life.

The Father calls us, His people, to be an authentic people. A people who live out the character of his Son; guided, strengthened and equipped by Him to share His love, mercy and grace, with those amongst whom we live. Then He will fulfil his promise.
