Letchworth Christian Bookshop

The Christian Bookshop is a friendly and wonderfully peaceful place where you can find books, Bibles, Children’s books, CD’s DVDs, gifts, and excellent, tasteful greetings cards, which are increasingly difficult to find in secular shops. It’s been serving and supporting the Christian community in the area for over 45 years and can be found in Ley’s Avenue in Letchworth

The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC)

Letchworth Baptist Church is affiliated to the FIEC. FIEC provides a range of spiritual and practical supports services to its member churches.

Westminster 2010

Desiring God Ministries

Desiring God is John Piper’s ministry beyond Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. It is a great resource.

Children Desiring God

Children Desiring God exists to equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things, for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. They are a great resource help and encouragement to us at Letchworth Baptist Church.


Ishmael is a well known children’s evangelist and teacher who has been to Letchworth Baptist Church many times.


Affinity is a growing network of many hundreds of Bible-centred churches and Christian agencies throughout Britain and Ireland. Through declaring and demonstrating essential unity in the revealed truth of the Bible, the aim to be more effective in proclaiming the good news of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Together for the Gospel – T4G

T4G is a bi-annual conference that encourages pastors to take their stand  together for the gospel. The web site provides access to the addresess of conference speakers.

The Bible Gateway is a free service for reading and researching Scripture online–all in the language or translation of your choice! It provides advanced tools that you can use to search the Bible by keywords or verse, as well as other tools to enhance your study of the Bible.

Blue Letter Bible Study Resource

This is an excellent bible study resource making access to the original languages available to the layman.

Letchworth Garden City  

Letchworth Garden City was the worlds first deliberately planned and built Garden City. It is a unique town being an estate owned and run by the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation. This web site will help you learn more about the town.

The Illyrian Gospel Trust is an organisation dedicated to reaching Albanians for Christ.

Creation Ministries International

Creation Ministries International supports the church in proclaiming the truth of the Bible and thus its gospel message, providing real-world answers to the most-asked questions in the vital area of creation/evolution, where the Bible is most under attack today.

The Biblical Creation Society

The Biblical Creation Society is a Christian society that advances and defends the Biblical teaching on creation. They seek to think through issues related to origins from a coherent Biblical and scientific standpoint.

This is another excelent and very comprehensive resource for studying the issues surrounding creation and science. It provides material suitable for both the layman and the scientist. It is highly recommended.

Urban Saints

Urban Saints are passionate about working with children and young people who have no church connection, helping them to realise their full God-given potential as they journey from childhood to adulthood.  Young people (aged 5 to 18+) connect with the movement in a variety of ways, including weekly youth groups, special events, holidays, community projects and training programmes.
